Trump is President of the United States....and it's a mess

We are in Myrtle Beach and a lot has changed since my last post in July of 2016.

As noted in the title, Trump is, indeed, in the position of President of the United States and things are looking worse every day.

.....to be continued

Talking about elections....

Well, now we are  halfway through 2016 and President Obama is finishing up his second term.
The presumed candidates running to take his place are Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans. (!!!) Now they are saying the horrid NJ Governor Chris Christie is being vetted as a potential Trump VP.

NJ politics has been really horrible these last years. Besides the pension debacle, the transportation fund is empty, plus a slew of  vetoed bills on a large range of issues from gun control to environmental protection.

I am looking forward to seeing Jennifer (and Alex and the boys) when she comes East to visit them before they move back to England :-( at the end of the month.

Still blogging after all these years...

Again, it's two years later and here I am.
Currently Tom and I are in Myrtle Beach. President Obama won re-election and I am so relieved.
We had so much fun at all of the Brewin wedding events- golf, Legends, setting up, the ceremony, the reception, the clean up, the dinner at Rioz.
Yesterday we visitied with Mike and Margie Ferrare at their MB home (!) and we're hoping to see Joanne K. today.
Sue is coming to the East Coast Nov. 16 and we are a stop on her whirlwind trip up the coast.

How ironic that the previous post mentions learning wordpress for the DEA website, and I am currently auditing a class on the same topic! (and have learned a lot more than I knew before!)

Tom is awake and time to let the day begin. (See you in 2014?)

Sunday, October 31, 2010

This was my first attempt at blogging on blogger and it looks a bit different than now.
Today is Halloween and Tom has been handing out Lots of candy. He loves seeing the kids.
Tomorrow I have the gym (meeting Vickie there), and a DEA workshop on wordpress websites.
Tuesday I work the polls 5:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday night is the Recreation Comm. Open House.
Thursday I'm going to AC for the Convention.
Friday pinochle and maybe George and Doreen.
Saturday hair cut.
Sunday Contact.
Monday-zumba preview. (and gym in the a.m.?)
Tuesday-Thursday-Nashville
Friday-Seniors meeting
Saturday-HRB orientation
Sunday-Lunch with GeeGee
Monday-Contact, Zumba
Tuesday, meeting with Phyllis at BCEA

Why am I writing all this? Hmmm.....Now I'm tired! LOL

Hi!
It's late and I am still at school.
I wonder if I can upload photos on this blog. I couldn't from the other computer onto the new blog I made for the class.
Ok...here goes...

Thursday, October 13, 2005

An interesting coincidence........Last blog was so close to exactly two years ago that I can talk about the same things! (and wish I had the photos from the 2003 newsletter for this 2005 election issue! Ah....if only my hard drive hadn't died in between........!)

So it's new school year 2005-2006 and I am working desperately to get the Fall issue out so I can go to the Market America Regional Conference with Tom Saturday. (It started today, actually, but........I have off for Yom Kippur) Sadly, the Mays are coming to NYC this weekend too, but we won't be able to go see them because of the MA thing in MD.

We are involved in year three of the Math-a-thon and also collecting for UNICEF (what a year of tragedies!) We did not make it to the Fall Fest, but we did attend the four day Tom's River Fest this summer.

I have to find a bunch of materials before I get into heavy duty writing, but it's good to be back!

Monday, October 06, 2003

Hello.
Back again.....new school year ongoing.
Current projects include the 2003 Mathathon and finishing up the Fall BCEA Bulletin. (I have to do that now, actually).

The Fall Fest in Lancaster was lovely, with beautiful weather to boot.
See photos.

We are going to California the weekend of October 25 for Jodie's big bash and it will be a great reunion for all the Kaye kids in one place at one time again at long last.

update: so I didn't win the prize, I've forgotten the URL for viewing this site like a regular person, not the maker, and we danced in Mississippi while we were in New Orleans.
School is out for summer. (Yes!!!!)

Monday, February 24, 2003

Just finished my weekly lesson plans and have to dash to school.......I wonder how the Women's History Month project will work out this year? Stay tuned to see if we win another prize........! Have a great day and wish me luck with the couldn't get the site to work all week-end online classroom supply ordering due today..........

Looks like I salvaged this first one by figuring out how to change the template. Hooray! I have a feeling I'll be learning a bit more each day. Meanwhile, today's best thing at school was the assembly - The Magic of Chemistry- and the kids' meaningfully self-chosen"vanity plates". Whoo! What psychological depth of view was revealed by some!

"I M LOST" proclaimed Joe's. He told me it was perfect for him. I had to agree.

Off to a bad start; I've lost the directions! Hmmm....... How hard could it be? They said it was easy......for the regular people.....If not now when? If not I, who? Yeah, right. (two positives don't make a negative.......remember that one?)
I wonder how you get a photo? or don't you? I see a link-maker.....let's try linking to my classroom website.....Room308
That reminds me.....maybe I should say something about the book report and the two hour delay (following two Snow Days!)
Okay.....end of first post......
